If the last two years (2020-2022) have taught me anything, it's that hard work and providing the best product possible is just about the only way to keep your head above water in times of crisis. I have always been a do-er, so the idea of having to do more for less wasn't as much of a culture shock to me as one would expect. It's the drive to constantly adapt while managing to give it your all that has helped me through these past few years. And much like surviving a harsh New England winter, I feel as though life is once again springing back to to its former self and new opportunities are abound. My name is Derek Small, and for twenty plus years I have called New Hampshire my home. Much like the changing of its four seasons, I have grown and changed a great deal during my time here. I worked my way to the top of my class at Keene State College, hiked Mount Washington, surfed the Atlantic, and have taken every opportunity to push myself further. Now, in my early thirties, I am looking more and more to the future and where these opportunities may take me.
If you have taken the time to read this and learn a little bit about me, then chances are that I want to learn more about you. If you are focused on architecture, design, or the preservation of this great planet, and you're in need of a do-er to get it done, then I'm the guy you're looking for.
I look forward to hearing from you, and take care on your way.
